From early spring to late summer 2016 we organized climbing to Kazbek from both Russia and Georgia. We did ski-touring and climbing the summit, waited for good weather conditions at the weather station, and ate huge juicy watermelons. This year Mount Kazbek was severe, a large amount of rain and snow even caused a descent of mud down to the Georgian Military Road. That's why the ascent of one of groups had to be postponed until better times.
But the main thing was trying our best! All participants, overcoming the difficulties and bad weather conditions, were climbing the mount by our guides.
